Our School Day

To enable all our children to have enough time to eat their school meal, we have now staggered Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 morning break and the start/ end of lunchtime. All children in Key Stages 1 and 2  get 75 minutes for lunch with a morning and afternoon break. EYFS children have ‘internal’ breaks in the morning and take part with Key Stage 1 at lunchtime.

8.45am – Settling in time.

9am Registration, Collective worship and assemblies

9.30-10.15/30am – Lesson 1

10.15- 10.30am Key Stage 1 break (Y1 and 2)

10.30-10.45 am – Key Stage 2 break (Y3-6)

10.45 – 11am – Silent Reading / Guided Reading / Milk (Infants) Handwriting etc.

11am-11.45 /12pm – Lesson 2

11.45am/12pm – 1pm/1.15pm – Lunchtime

1.15 -2.15pm – Lesson 3

2.15 – 2.30pm – Break

2.30 – 3.30pm – Lesson 4

3.30pm – Home-time
