Mouse Club for Class One

Welcome to Mouse Club. ‘Mouse Club’ is a Parental Engagement Project which has been funded by the energy company OVO. Its aim is to get parents and teachers working together to help support children in learning both inside the classroom and at home. It involves parent workshops and stay and plays so teachers can help support parents. We want to build and improve on our relationships with each other so together we can help the children develop in all areas of learning.

Our first stay and play involved making playdough. We were so pleased to see so many families turn up to work alongside their children. We all had a lovely time making playdough and singing songs. The next stay and play will be held on the 6th November at 9 a.m. in the school hall. All are welcome to attend. Even bring a friend along if you like!

Today's stay and play involved us using different materials to make a strory map of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Your creations were marvellous. Our next stay and play will be Thursday 13th December at 9 - 9:45am. This will be a Christmas stay and play so it would be lovely to see you all in a festive jumper/t-shirt and bring one for the children too! Hope to see you there.
