Our teachers are Miss Wilson, (Lower Key Stage 2 Lead), Mrs Wright (Art Lead) and Mrs Kelly / Mrs. Robinson LSAs. Whilst Mrs Wright is on maternity leave, Mr Doyle will be teaching Class 8.

Year 3's P.E. days are Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Year 3 go swimming on a Thursday and  Class 7 need to be in school by 8.45 ready to leave at 8.50.  The children can come to school in their school tracksuits and trainers.

We are now learning our x3, x4, x8 tables so please help you child at home to practise them.

  • Spellings and Tables are tested on a Monday.

  • Please ensure that your child’s reading record is signed at least once a week and that they are encouraged to read reguarly at home. Children are responsible for changing their own reading books on a weekly basis.  All children are heard read by their class teacher during Guided Reading sessions.  (Some children will continue to be heard read on a 1:1 basis by their teacher or LSA.)

  • We are keen to help the children become independent learners, so please encourage them to organise themselves, look after their belongings and remember to change their reading books etc.

No internet... No problem!

Read together, write a magical story, create books about things you are interested in, bake cakes, make pizzas, be creative, plant seeds in your garden and draw a chart for their growth, write a movie/book review, but most importantly- READ, READ READ!

Play board games, learn all your times tables, paint, draw, make playdough, learn how to tie your shoe laces (you know who you are)!!

Do puzzles, Sudoko, make your own crossword or wordsearch!

The whole world can be your classroom!

We hope that everyone is staying safe and we look forward to seeing everybody again soon.

Miss Wilson, Mrs Wright and Mr Doyle
